This “Baby Barolo” is a very pretty offering, laced with delicate, fragrant fruit. The accessible, silky Nebbiolo offers terrific balance and fine overall harmony. It's intense, dry, tannic, fresh, tasty, quite soft, quite balanced, and the taste impressions remain for a very long time. Deliciously aromatic, with gorgeous red fruit with a soft yet very well structured mouthfeel and silky tannins. This wine is an absolute stunner!

Looking for a wine to go with Beef Stroganoff or another meal with a lot of earthy vegetables, and don’t want to drop the $40–50 it takes to get a Barolo? Pick up a Nebbiolo from right next door in the Langhe region. Medium-bodied with lots of forest floor and spice, this poor man’s Barolo is a great buy for under $20.
