Don’t be put off by the intensely resinous scent; this is a complex, classic manzanilla, with dark nut overtones in the intense flor-driven flavor and a brisk sea-salt edge. Under the flor, hints of lemon zest, dried apple and almonds merge in a delicate balance. Ideal with nothing more than a handful of marcona almonds.

A classic manzanilla with aromas of honey, apple, blanched almonds and a salt air. Fresh and exuding clarity not found in every fino or manzanilla. Quite apple-driven on the palate, with hints of mushrooms and buttered toast. Flavorful, lithe and on the money.

A very distinctive Manzanilla, dry, with almond, apple and yeast flavors, the last emerging on the finish. It’s satisfying and balanced toward a softer, fleshier style

Pale straw color is flawlessly clean and reminiscent of Muscadet. Opening aroma is incredibly yeasty, doughy and bakery-like; latter stages aromatics include semolina, sesame seed, and just a deftest trace of sea salt; a textbook Manzanilla, dry-as-the-Sahara nose. Entry is bone dry, with a distant saltiness that is more nuanced than overt, midpalate reminds me of dried banana or better, dried pineapple because of the innate acidity and freshness. One of my favorite Manzanillas, period.
