91 pts. Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate: August, 2003
The opaque ruby/purple-colored 2002 Shiraz exhibits a spectacular nose of peppery blackberry fruit, an opulent, concentrated, thick, muscular palate, and a long, pure finish with loads of fruit and glycerin nearly concealing the tannin. It should drink well for a decade or more. This is an impressive Australian red!

A wine of unusual concentration and depth at this price. Meaty, chewy and delicious displaying blackberry, cassis, cherry and truffles on the nose. The palate welcomes similar flavors as it is caressed by seamless texture and a long, lingering finish.
