Ruby-red. Fresh raspberry and candied cherry on the nose, with good peppery and floral lift. Tangy red berry flavors are finely etched and pure, with gentle tannins adding support. The deep finish leaves behind an exotic floral pastille quality. Wonderfully complex for the price.

In the town of Quintanamanvirgo, where Torremorón is grown and produced, you will find a little over 100 people who live there, and nearly everyone of them has some part is creating this great value wine. The wine is made up of 100% Tempranillo and the climate of hot days and cool nights allow the grape to reach it’s full potential. Because of the climate the wine is deep in color and flavor (lots of berries) and the finish is smooth and silky. When I was there we enjoyed the wine with grilled lamb with fresh vegetables.
