Lush and soft, but light in body and low in tannin, this 100% old vine Garnacha is an excellent alternative to your favorite Côtes du Rhône or California Pinot Noir. Bright cherry and red raspberry fruits with rich spice and subtle vanilla notes. Great with pasta dishes as well as light pork- or beef-based meals.

The spotlight here is on low-yielding old vine Grenache, planted on rocks, at a mountainous 3000 ft. elevation, and fermented and aged exclusively in stainless steel. Under these conditions, the wine offers up aromas of raspberry and blackberry, with intense, sweet flavors and concentrated, rich texture which critics have compared to Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
