Rich and smooth, with deep blackberry and currant notes, the Viva Bene Primitivo is a terrific alternative to your favorite Merlot, Malbec or Zin. Intense fruit, bold spice and a full, dry finish. Try it with steak, mushrooms or braised pork.

This garnet-colored red hails from the “heel of the boot” in Southern Italy, and is made from Primitivo, a genetic synonym for what we call Zinfandel. The zesty flavors and smoky character of sundried cherries and spice would make a great pairing with pepperoni pizza.
