Not your typical Montepulciano. The Viva Bene has lots of sweet cherry on the nose and on the palate. It is fuller and juicier than the standard Montepulciano from Abruzzo, almost like it is from California. A very enjoyable wine to have on its own or with your standard Italian dish.
