Dark purple. Smoky cherry and blackberry on the nose, with dark chocolate and tar accents. Bitter cherry and licorice flavors are slightly harsh on the finish but maintain a sweet character. Takes a slightly pruney turn with air but this offers good value for fans of riper red wines.
