90–95 pts. Wine Enthusiast: November 15, 2007
The understated bouquet keeps unfolding with time in the glass with evolving dill and caramel scents. The palate entry is mild, moderately vanilla-like and semisweet; the midpalate is long, biscuity sweet and only slightly dill-like. Pickle brine surfaces in the set finish.

The soft pale straw color is unblemished and clean. The delicate scent after the pour has “dill and other leafy herbs” written all over it; over the aeration period, a slightly honeyed, Crackerjack-like aroma develops that’s one part caramel and one part vegetation; an intriguing, if understated bouquet that keeps unfolding. The palate entry is mild, moderately vanilla-like, and semi-sweet; the midpalate stage is long, biscuity sweet, and only slightly dill-like. Pickle brine surfaces in the engaging finish.
