The bouquet rushes out from the sampling copita offering concentrated notes of fresh-picked raspberries; with time, the bouquet takes on a densely preserves-like personality. The entry flavor is lean, astringent and fruity; at midpalate the flavor turns vinous, leafy, off-dry to bitter, just as raspberries off the vine can be. Ends on a bittersweet note.

Highest Recommendation.

: March/April, 2008

Bold, just-picked raspberry aromas and flavors. Full bodied, with good structure and a clean note of lemon in the finish. Excellent. Mixed with sparkling soda water.

: September, 2008

Bright flamingo pink with tangy, fresh picked raspberry aromas and flavors. Focused, pure fresh berry flavor with a great balance of sweetness. Excellent. Martini.

: June, 2009

Beautiful rosy pink color; bright, fresh and balanced with the natural, sun-kissed sweetness of red raspberries. Long finish of raspberry; successfully captures the true fruit.

: December 1, 2004

The pale brick pink color is attractive — excellent purity; what scent on yonder glass breaks? the bouquet rushes out from the sampling copita and enchants the olfactory sense immediately, offering concentrated and moderately sweet notes of fresh-picked raspberries — with time, the bouquet takes on a more candied or, better, a densely preserves-like personality; “surprise, surprise” bleats my pea brain as the entry flavor is accurately lean, astringent, and authentically fruity — at midpalate, the flavor turns vinous, leafy, off-dry to bitter, just as raspberries off the vine can be.

: August, 2006

Full bodied and light with pure, ripe, fresh-picked raspberry aromas and flavors with a hint of lime; well-balanced, light raspberry finish.
