Notably elegant and refined, this is polished at points, firm on the finish. The core black cherry and blackberry flavors are fresh and lively. Drink now through 2020.

With its dry earthiness, this is classic Jordan. It shows blackberry and black cherry flavors, with an herb note. The tannins are gentle. It will age for years, softening and gaining earthy complexities.

The 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon spent 19 months in new and used French oak. It has an austere, smoky bouquet with roasted herbs and sandalwood. The palate is medium-bodied with sharp red cherry and strawberry fruit, and sharp acidity, but there is more than enough freshness and delineation on the conservative finish. Drink 2012–2017.
