Bill Logue

Wine Associate, Prestige Wine & Spirits
A native of Kenmore, Bill comes to us with a vast knowledge of the wine business. After many years in both the restaurant and the wholesale industry, he felt it was time to try his hand at retail, with the thought of connecting with those who will ultimately end up enjoying the wines he enjoys. Bill has traveled extensively through the wine regions of the world, with a passion for food and wines that always seems to open new doors, and he says there isn’t a day that goes by where he doesn’t discover something fun that he somehow missed in his previous experiences. Bill’s palate has evolved and grown through a wide range of reds, but his love of great white Burgundies, Sauvignon Blancs and other interesting whites has never left him. Bill lives in North Buffalo with his wife and two children.

2010 / 750 ml.
France | Rhone | TavelItem #31966Bill Logue says:
The main reason for liking this rosé is the composition of the grapes used. You have the usual suspects — Grenache, Mourvedre, and Syrah — but some Clairette and Picpoul are thrown in this... view more -

2008 / 750 ml.
Italy | Apulia | Primitivo di ManduriaItem #30513Bill Logue says:
Crazy little wine, this. Little only in terms of production — it is not little in the timid sense. Huge, powerful black and blue fruits jump out of the glass, inviting you to take taste after taste.... view more -

France | Loire | Muscadet Sèvre-et-MaineItem #31958Bill Logue says:
Flinty nose with a touch of sea salt that carries through to the palate. Very crisp and clean, with hints of lemon-lime, and a touch of quinine. The finish lingers a bit, with some of the salinity rounding... view more -

France | Rhone | Côtes du RhôneItem #31970Bill Logue says:
Comprised of Grenache, Cinsault and Carignane, this simple style CDR is very pretty in color and the aromas come off rather succinctly: violet, wood, vanilla and earth. Tart cherry is most prevalent, with... view more -

I have had the pleasure of tasting this new winery’s Albariño on a couple of occasions. The first time I was a bit skeptical of the “gimmicky” label, but was really pleasantly... view moreLimited inventory.

Pierre Amadieu La Grangelière Vacqueyras

France | Rhone | VacqueyrasItem #31961Bill Logue says:
Boy, there is a lot to love in this bottle. Vacqueyras — tough to say, easy to enjoy. 80% Grenache and 20% Syrah, it packs a wallop. Smoky and dusky, bacon and plum aromas are the first thing to hit you.... view more
