The third offering from Perseverance (the Zinfandel and Cabernet being one and two) is their 2013 Chardonnay.  If you are looking for an inexpensive, but not formula tasting Chardonnay, you should consider this one. This wine has plenty of rich and ripe fruit notes, including pear, mango and peach.  After the first sip, your mouth will be tantalized by baked apple, a bit of lemon zest, and creamy vanilla. For a value wine, the Perseverance Chardonnay is very well balanced.  It’s not too thin or artificially oakey tasting like some other cheap Chardonnays. This one is somewhat complex yet easy to drink.

Have this as an aperitif or pair it with roast chicken, stuffed sole, or a Fall favorite; New England Clam Chowder with a loaf of warm crusty bread and a simple green salad.

You can pick up Perseverance Chardonnay at our store as part of our Double Up for a Buck sale for $7.00 a bottle when you buy two.
