About the Wine
Wow! Awesome!! In the same vein as Lillet, this is a fortified wine product that starts with a base of Cabernet Sauvignon and is infused with black thorns and stems. The nose is sour cherries with a nice oxidized backbone. Moderately sweet with ripe cherries, plums and black raspberries; the finish has strawberries with the quietest touch of that herbal/bitter cherry medicine flavor, which balances the sweetness. Makes a nice dessert, or use it in your favorite cocktails!
