New Year's Day Bloody Marys
A Bloody Mary brunch is the perfect way to start off the new year. Find some Bloody Mary mix and Vodka recommendations below, or if you want to try making your Bloody Mary from scratch, use any of the Vodkas below with this recipe.
INGREDIENTS
- celery salt
- 1 lime wedge
- 1 lemon wedge
- ice
- 2 oz Vodka (see recommendations below)
- 4 oz tomato juice
- 1-2 tsp prepared horseradish (to taste)
- 2 dashes Tabasco
- 2 dashes Worcestershire sauce
- 1 pinch ground pepper
- 1 pinch smoked paprika
- 1 pinch celery salt
- 1 Tbsp pickle juice
- Garnishes (see options in step 3)
1. Pour some celery salt onto a small plate. Rub the lip of a pint glass with the juicy side of the lime, then twist the rim of the glass in the celery salt to coat. Fill glass with ice and set aside.
2. Squeeze the lemon and lime wedges into a cocktail shaker then drop them in. Add, the vodka, tomato juice, horseradish, Tabasco, Worcestershire sauce, pepper, paprika, celery salt, and pickle juice to the shaker, then shake until well combined.
3. Strain the cocktail into the prepared glass and garnish with any of the following: celery stalk, pickle spear, cooked bacon slice, pickled green bean, speared green olives, lime wedge
