    Côtes de Provence Rosé
    2020 / 750 ml. | Item#54177

    JS9292 pts. - JamesSuckling.com - Tuesday, February 2, 2021
Very pale apricot-pink color. Delicate aromas of sliced apple, pink grapefruit, peach, cream and stones follow through to a medium body and crisp acidity. Deliciously creamy and smooth. Drink and enjoy.

Brilliant peach skin. Red berries and pit fruits on the nose, and a floral nuance in the background. Silky and open-knit, showing good depth as well as energy to the red currant and nectarine flavors, which pick up a refreshingly bitter orange zest quality on the back half. Finishes long and juicy, with a repeating floral note and subtle grip. Don’t hate on this wine just because it’s popular.

  10. Wagner Dry Rosé of Cabernet Franc

    2020 / 750 ml. | Item#53952

    JS9090 pts. - JamesSuckling.com - Tuesday, August 24, 2021
A bright grapefruit-colored rosé with aromas of cherries, red apples, pomelos and violets. It’s medium-bodied with bright acidity and excellent concentration. Some tannin texture. Crisp and dry. Drink now. Screw cap.
    RP8787 pts. - Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate - 28th May 2021
The 2020 Dry Rosé of Cabernet Franc is dry (a bit less than four grams of sugar and 6.4 in total acidity) and comes in at 12.8% alcohol. This has enough acidity to seem pure and fully dry, but the bold flavors are still right there on the finish too. That finish is also juicy, even a little mouthwatering. The mid-palate is solid, making this seem more serious. It can become a red wine substitute at the table in warm weather. Overall, this tastes great and has reasonable structure. It is also at a very nice price.

  14. Miraval Côtes de Provence Rosé

    2020 / 750 ml. | Item#53989

    RP9090 pts. - Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate - 8th Jul 2021
Blended from estate and non-estate fruit, Miraval’s 2020 Cotes de Provence Rose is a traditional blend of Cinsault, Grenache, Rolle (Vermentino) and Syrah, with a tiny proportion (about 5%) fermented in barrel. Whatever one may think about the movie star connection, there’s no denying the technical expertise the Perrin family brings to the project, with this vintage offering up attractive notions of red berries, tangerine, peach and melon, all layered on a base of crushed stone. It’s medium-bodied and fully dry, with a sense of elegant austerity on the finish.
