"There’s no mistaking this classic apéritif, from the vibrant melted lipstick-red color to the distinctive signature bitter finish, clean, clear and strong. It’s high, bitter and faintly floral-fruity in scent. Americanos and Negronis wouldn’t be the same without this jewel-like spirit." (96 pts.)

"The nosing passes find earthy/woodsy scents of brambles/vines, moss, forest floor and stones. The palate entry owns a unique tree bark-like taste that’s oddly attractive; the midpalate stage features pungent flavors of ashes, roots, quinine, honey, citrus peels and earth." (85–89 pts.)

"Although Campari is classified in the U.S. as a liqueur, in Italy, it’s classed as a “bitter apéritif”. Ruby red in color, this spirit brings aromas of fresh ginger, orange zest, and a host of other spices. The body is medium, and the palate is slightly bitter but not overpoweringly so. Here we find a well-integrated mix of herbs, fruits and spices. The finish is clean and dry." (95 pts.)
