"Full ruby-red. Pungent, spice-tinged red and blue fruits, succulent herbs and flowers on the nose, along with a hint of earthiness. Gently chewy and focused on the palate, offering bitter cherry and boysenberry flavors that slowly unfurl through the back half. Finishes long and spicy, with a touch of smokiness and slowly building tannins. 15% new French oak." (91 pts.)
