The Best Oregon Pinot Noirs and more

When people think of Oregon wines, they think of Oregon Pinot Noirs. And rightly so, since the best Oregon Pinot Noirs double as some of the best pinot noirs in the world. Of course, that's not all that Oregon has to offer when it comes to wine.

You'll also find some other great reds and whites in Oregon, including Chardonnays, Syrahs, and Pinot Gris. Many of these wines originate from Oregon's Williamette Valley, the top AVA in Oregon that's located around and south of Portland.

Regardless of which Oregon wines you love, you'll find them here at WineMadeEasy.com. Buy the best Oregon wines have them shipped to your doorstep!

    VN9090 pts. - Vinous - Jun 2019
Glimmering red. Spice-accented red fruit and rose oil on the nose, along with notes of white pepper, allspice and musky earth. Juicy and focused in the mouth, offering bitter cherry and red berry flavors with a touch of medicinal bitterness. Turns sweeter with air and shows very good energy on the persistent finish, which is firmed by dusty, fine-grained tannins that fold smoothly into the wine’s fruit.

    WS8888 pts. - Wine & Spirits - August 1, 2018
A curious nonvintage blend of muller-thurgau, gewurztraminer, riesling and pinot gris, this aromatic white starts out both flinty and floral, with a spring-herb scent. The flavors are grapey and bright, shaped by an angular acidity; to pair with twice-cooked pork.

  5. Montinore Estate Pinot Gris

    2018 / 750 ml. | Item#52926

    VN9191 pts. - Vinous - Sep 2020
Extremely pale, vaguely hazy onion skin. Ripe pear, melon and hyacinth scents are complemented by a subtle touch of honey. Round and seamless in texture, offering open-knit orchard and pit fruit flavors and a subtle touch of succulent herbs. More on the weighty, Alsace side of this varietal equation than on the Italian side. The long, floral-driven finish shows good clarity and a hint of herbacity. There’s a lot going on here for such a reasonably priced wine; I imagine that the hipster crowd would happily pay double and think they’d scored a deal. Maybe they did.
    SP8989 pts. - Wine Spectator - Mar 31, 2020
Sleek and delicate, with pretty orange blossom and cantaloupe flavors that finish with brisk acidity. Drink now. 7,000 cases made.
    WE8888 pts. - Wine Enthusiast - 10/1/2020
The color is a light tawny straw, and the aromas have a pleasantly dusty spiciness. The fruit reflects the flavors of early oxidation, with autumnal apples and hints of pollen and clover. It’s quite nice but should be consumed over the next year or two.

    WE9090 pts. - Wine Enthusiast - 8/1/2020
This Pinot Noir includes 30% Hyland Vineyard fruit. Brisk black-cherry scents and flavors come with a roasted, grilled quality. Those charred notes carry over into the finish, which is surprisingly substantial for a wine at this price.

Pinpoint in structure and revealing a dense core of lively minerality, this is a handsome red with cherry and savory tea flavors that build tension toward medium-grained tannins. Drink now through 2028. 7,736 cases made.
    VN9090 pts. - Vinous - Aug 2020
Shimmering ruby. Smoky, spice-tinged black raspberry and cherry aromas carry a subtle floral topnote. Lively dark fruit and floral pastille flavors are deepened by a licorice nuance and a hint of bitter chocolate. Silky in texture and appealingly sweet, finishing with sharp focus and spicy persistence. 20% new French oak.

  10. A to Z Oregon Pinot Noir

    2017 / 750 ml. | Item#52880

    WE8989 pts. - Wine Enthusiast - 7/1/2020
What can be asked of a $22 Oregon Pinot Noir? Decent depth, varietal flavor, well-managed tannins — all present and accounted for here. There’s a mix of red and blue berries, and a wash of wet stone adding texture to the mouthfeel. The finish falls a bit short, but that’s what separates it from the pricier bottles.
    SP8787 pts. - Wine Spectator - Web only – 2020

  11. Ayres Willamette Valley Pinot Noir

    2018 / 750 ml. | Item#51858

    RP9292 pts. - Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate - 23rd Apr 2020
The 2018 Pinot Noir has a pale to medium ruby color and perfume of crushed cranberries, raspberries, blackberries, cinnamon, clove and pipe tobacco with warm earth and tea leaf notions. The palate is medium-bodied with bright red berry fruit, a grainy frame and long, fresh finish.
    VN9191 pts. - Vinous - Aug 2020
Vivid red. Aromas of black raspberry, cherry and pungent flowers pick up a hint of succulent herbs with aeration. Juicy and focused in the mouth, offering bitter cherry and dark berry flavors that take on a spicy nuance on the back half. The floral note repeats on the long, gently tannic finish, which leaves a hint of spiciness behind. 15% new oak.
    JS8888 pts. - JamesSuckling.com - Thursday, January 30, 2020

Part of the Jackson Family portfolio, this widely-available wine marries spicy berry and black-cherry fruit to barrel flavors of cocoa powder. Tannins are buffed to a fine gloss, and come to a final focus with a hint of green tea. Some 23% was aged in new French oak.
