  1. Red Electric Interurban Pinot Noir

    2016 / 750 ml. | Item#53792

    VN9090 pts. - Vinous - Jun 2019
Glimmering red. Spice-accented red fruit and rose oil on the nose, along with notes of white pepper, allspice and musky earth. Juicy and focused in the mouth, offering bitter cherry and red berry flavors with a touch of medicinal bitterness. Turns sweeter with air and shows very good energy on the persistent finish, which is firmed by dusty, fine-grained tannins that fold smoothly into the wine’s fruit.

The latest edition of this affordable Willamette Valley Pinot offers flavors that are solidly varietal and capture the vivid berry fruit and sappy acidity of the region. The tannins are just strong enough to frame it, with a trailing flavor of black tea.

A New World version with Old World appeal, showing wiry cherry, underbrush and spice flavors that take on tension toward wiry tannins. Drink now through 2028. 7,000 cases made.
    WE8888 pts. - Wine Enthusiast - 7/1/2021
Like its companion Chardonnay, this is a wine that lives up to its name. Flavors shoot straight up the middle, with compact fruit highlights of pomegranate and red berries, framed with stiff, evenly ripened tannins. It’s a no-frills wine but solid in every way.

    WE9292 pts. - Wine Enthusiast - 3/1/2021
A fine value, this introduces itself with a beguiling nose of vanilla and violets. The flavors bring strawberries and cream to mind, with other red fruits, notably pomegranate. It’s a very pretty wine, smooth and lingering. Delicious already, it should drink well on through the next half decade.
    JS9292 pts. - JamesSuckling.com - Sunday, August 22, 2021
This very drinkable and elegant pinot has aromas of ripe red cherry and raspberry with some gently sappy elements in the mix. Really pure. The palate is slinky and balanced, the red-cherry and cranberry flavorous sitting really bright and fresh. So drinkable now. Screw cap.

    2018 / 750 ml. | Item#52271

    JS9292 pts. - JamesSuckling.com - Thursday, January 30, 2020
Fresh red and dark cherries are framed in aromas of fine-ground baking spice here. The palate has a very smooth, refined feel with long, silky tannins, swirling around a core of fresh, red-cherry and berry flavor. Their finest release under this estate label. Drink or hold. Screw cap.
    VN9191 pts. - Vinous - Aug 2020
Bright ruby-red. Fresh, spice-accented red berries, cherry and a floral nuance on the nose. Silky and open-knit, offering lively raspberry, bitter cherry and spicecake flavors that turn sweeter through the midpalate. Lingers with very good tenacity on the subtly tannic finish, which echoes the red fruit and floral notes. This is quite a graceful wine for the vintage.
    SP9090 pts. - Wine Spectator - Nov 15, 2020

Ripe, boysenberry and cherry aromas are nicely augmented with earthy, woody, savory notes. The palate has a succulent core of rich, cherry and plum flavors. Holds well on the finish. Drink now.
    RP9090 pts. - Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate - 23rd Apr 2020

    2019 / 750 ml. | Item#52508

    WS8888 pts. - Wine & Spirits - 04/21
With a dark display of fruit, plum and ripe black cherry, this wine borders on extravagant, but the fruit is kept reined in with chocolaty tannins. It over delivers for the price.
