The United States now ranks fourth in the world in wine production behind, France, Italy, and Spain. While about 90% of that wine is produced in California, other states like Oregon, New York, and Washington are establishing themselves as prime spots for wine production, as well. Just about any variety of wine can be found in production somewhere in the United States.

A zesty, toasty red, with medium-bodied currant and black cherry flavors accented by espresso and spices. Ends with snappy tannins. Drink now through 2028. 145,000 cases made. (Tim Fish)
WE8888 pts. - Wine Enthusiast - 11/1/2022
Aromas of rose petal, dried herb, chocolate and cherry lead to pleasing dark-fruit and chocolate flavors that paint around the edges, considerably lighter in the middle. What’s there impresses and delivers a lot of value. (Sean P. Sullivan)

This is toasty, with dark fruit, cedar, crushed walnut and earth, following through to a medium to full body with firm tannins and a juicy dark-fruit core. Notes of blue flowers and chocolate to close. Drink or hold. (James Suckling)
WE9292 pts. - Wine Enthusiast - 7/1/2023
A floral nose offers aromas of violets, sweet pea flowers and ripe blackberries, with a touch of graphite. The palate is none more black, with black cherry, black olive and black pepper flavors ruling the roost. Elevated acidity and plush tannins are a happy bonus. (Michael Alberty)
JD91+91+ pts. - Jeb Dunnuck - 6/14/2023
Incorporating 5% Merlot, the deep purple-hued 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon XXV gives up a terrific perfume of cassis, leafy tobacco, spring flowers, and lead pencil. This medium-bodied, elegant, nicely textured 2019 has some creamy oak, firm, building tannins, and outstanding length. Give it a year or two and enjoy over the following decade. This comes from the Kenny Hill, Lewis, Wallula, and Sagemoor vineyards and spent 20 months in 32% new French oak and 18% in new American oak. (Jeb Dunnuck)
SP8989 pts. - Wine Spectator - Nov 15, 2023
Precise and tightly focused, with appealing cherry, tobacco and cedar flavors that finish with medium-grained tannins. Drink now through 2029. 1,800 cases made. (Tim Fish)

VN9191 pts. - Vinous - Mar 2023
Dark masses of black raspberries, currants, crushed ashen stone and hints of dusty spice box waft up from the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Walla Walla Valley. It’s supremely elegant, with vibrant acids, enlivening the tart wild berry fruits within. This tapers off structured with grippy tannins, and a core of primary concentration that will promise a long and steady elevation. (Eric Guido)
JD9191 pts. - Jeb Dunnuck - 7/9/2022
The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Walla Walla Valley is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from a mix of seven different vineyards and it’s always a good value. Its deep purple color is followed by a ripe, opulent, full-bodied Cabernet with lots of plum and darker berry fruits, notes of chocolate, roasted herbs, and oak, ripe yet mouthcoating tannins, and a great finish. While it doesn’t have the elegance of the top cuvées, it brings ample fruit and texture, and should keep for 10–12 years. (Jeb Dunnuck)

Precisely structured, rich yet elegantly firm, this red is generous, with blackberry, dried sage and olive flavors that finish with broad-shouldered tannins. Drink now through 2030. 11,864 cases made. (Tim Fish)
JD9292 pts. - Jeb Dunnuck - 6/4/2023
I loved the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Red Mountain, which is loaded with sweet red and black currant fruit as well as some classic Cabernet spice, tobacco, leather, and loamy earth notes. This medium-bodied, nicely balanced, concentrated Cabernet Sauvignon has enough concentration and structure to evolve for a solid decade. (Jeb Dunnuck)
JS9292 pts. - JamesSuckling.com - Tuesday, August 9, 2022
Aromas of grated nutmeg, black and red currants and wild herbs. Full-bodied with firm tannins. Fresh acidity and ripe fruit create a pleasant dynamic on the palate. Well balanced. 84% cabernet sauvignon, 7% merlot, 7% malbec and 2% petit verdot. Drink now. (James Suckling)
